Lozen of the Chiricahua Apache people. She was a female warrior who was a skilled military strategist, as well as being highly proficient in medicinal matters. She was her people’s spiritual leader and possessed spiritual abilities that enabled her to detect the movement of her enemies, allowing her to plan their strategies. Her brother was the famous war chief Victorio.
